Sausage of the week: Beef and tomato with cracked black pepper

This week’s sausage combines our best locally sourced beef with the sweetness of tomato. Cutting across this is slight edge provided by cracked black pepper. You get a much more aromatic effect by cracking peppercorns instead of grinding them and this gives the sausage a pleasing spicy tang. You can get a pound of these sausages for half price when bought with a pound of any other sausage. The offer’s limited to one pound of promotional sausages per customer.
