Following recent concerns about the treatment of laying hens and the source of off the shelf eggs bought in supermarkets, we can assure you that ours are locally farmed from well treated birds.

In fact, we recently received a letter from our supplier, Broadland Eggs Ltd who had the following to say:

I can assure you that all the eggs supplied by Broadland Eggs are fully compliant with the new regulations and we have, in fact, spent £400,000 in providing Enriched Colony Pens for our hens. We are the only producers left in Norfolk and Suffolk who can supply you with “Locally Produced” intensive eggs.

All our eggs are stamped with the production code which includes the letter UK as a guarantee that they have been produced in the United Kingdom.
