The latest arrival at the Bradwell Butchery, Bakery and Delicatessen is proving a huge hit and is flying off the shelves as soon as we can make it. It’s a delicious savoury pie reproduced from a recipe by pie master Peter Mellors. Within its beautiful pastry case you’ll find the pie deep filled with succulent chicken. Above this is a layer of ham and the pie is finished off with a toasted cheese topping. When Lee baked a trial batch of these last week, they were quickly snapped up by eager pie tasters on the staff and by visiting customers. They’re well worth a try and one of these delicious pies costs a mere £3.25. That’s not much to pay for heaven in a pasty case!
