During the shooting season (September to January) we have all fresh game birds which come from local shoots. As the season comes to an end we then stock some birds in our freezer so our customers can purchase and enjoy throughout the year.

We have fresh Venison from the Gunton Estate. When in season, these are of excellent quality stock, so will always be tender and flavoursome. Venison is becoming more popular, because it is very lean and has a rich and gamey flavour – wonderful for special occasions, or a tasty venison casserole mid-week is a pleasant change from other meats. You can also find this in our freezer.
